BEHIND THE LENS

Allana is fascinated by all elements of visual art.  Studying firstly at Leith School of Art where, along with drawing and painting, photography was a key element of her creative research.  Allana continued her studies at Edinburgh College of Art which allowed her to develop her work and find that photography was her true passion.

Working for both private as well as commercial clients Allana continues to build a wide ranging portfolio of work. Driven by her enthusiasm for photography she has a distinct observational and non intrusive style of working.

Allana also has a strong passion for nature, wildlife and landscape photography which she finds in both the Scottish countryside and cities.

​

Inspired and motivated by her son Harley, featured in many of her photographs, he allows her to see the world and all things in it differently, to take a risk and  try new things.

Allana is constantly thriving to capture a different side to the everyday, through her own eyes, through the lens.
